Play this video, and answer and submit all the embedded questions.  
Some of the pauses are not actually questions, but rather, something for you to hear additional instruction about. 
But for the questions, you must answer and submit each one, then press continue to do the whole video.
NOTE: One of the questions will mark you wrong, but don't worry about it (The months we are not in school.- the creator of this video's answer is "julio y agosto.") 

Learning Target:  Identify calendar vocabulary
Success Criteria:   I can ask and tell information about days, dates, and months. I can tell my birthday.
Direct Instruction/Guided Practice:  
Read over the attached calendar/days/months/dates document (repetitions, discuss spellings)
Complete the attached Google Form Submission, called "DAYS, MONTHS Google Form (graded)
Homework:  If you don't have index cards, no problem:  Create 31 nice, neat flashcards (cut up paper 3" x 5", or 3" x 4") for each of the expressions on TODAY's Calendar, days months dates document) To receive credit for this homework, you will show me these index cards during our next Google Meet.

Take notes on ADJECTIVE AGREEMENT. (Watch the attached Maestro Kaplan video)


Open page 1 of the attached "adjectives articles gender and number packet"ADJECTIVES LIST, attached.  
Repeat all.


Choose 20 adjectives from the first page of today's new document called adjectives articles gender packet. Draw (Illustrate) and label in Spanish, the 25 adjectives that you choose.  You are not going to be graded on your artistic ability. See my examples attached below. 

Do  NOT draw or label nationalities. Do NOT draw "muy."


Next, on a piece of paper, draw three columns.  
Label them:  First column:  Physical,    Second Column:  Personality,        
Third Column:   adjectives describing Classes/Courses           
Put ALL the adjectives from the attached list (except nationalities, and don't list the word "muy") into their correct category columns. 

Homework: FINISH illustrations of adjectives. For Distance Learners, be sure to and UPLOAD all work in photo form (click "Attach", hit "camera" and UPLOAD that way!)

Using your own words, in English, what does the word "cognate" mean?  TURN IN.

Learning Target:  I can use technology to communicate in Distance Learning class.
I can express dates in Spanish.

Success Criteria:  I can recall days, months and dates in Spanish. I communicate with my teacher according to the four (4) required parts of the rubric:

• 40 points.  Attend MANDATORY Google Meet the first 20 minutes of your regularly scheduled class (2nd=10:00-10:20, 3rd=11:40-12:00, 4th=2:00-2:30)
• 20 points.  Type "yes" or "no" where required on the attached "Distance Learning Day 1 Expectations Agreement" 
• 20 points.  Type "Hola."  in the PRIVATE COMMENT box of the document assignment. (NOT the "class comment" box).
• 20 points.  Press TURN IN after you finish reading and signing off on the "Distance Learning Expectations Agreement."
• BONUS POINTS to the person who tells me, in the CLASS COMMENTS box, how to type the following characters on a laptop:  ñ, ó, á, é, í, ú, ¿, ¡

3. This part is DUE WEDNESDAY:   Write your first and last name on EVERY page of your Dates Months packet. Complete your Dates, Months packet. Use any electronic translator you like (for this assignment only) and upload photos of your completed work by pressing “attachment” and “camera” and “turn in”We worked on this packet in class last week even before the optional attendance days. You should finish your whole packet by Wednesday and upload the photos. (See the attached distance learning agreement to see how to upload pictures of your work)
