1.  Watch THE LORAX (free on Netflix).  Also found on Hulu, Amazon Prime and many other streaming channels and apps.  If you do not have access to the movie, listen to it.  To hear the story:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlmgIPxfRbs 

2.  Complete the attached questions while you watch the movie.  There will be a follow-up assignment tomorrow.

3.  Choose two of the following essays to answer.  Make sure you identify the question/Letter(ABCD) you are answering. 
Turn in your answers.  All work must be completed for credit to be given.


IF YOU TURNED THIS WORK IN ON FRIDAY, YOU WILL NOT HAVE A NEW ASSIGNMENT UNTIL WEDNESDAY.
If you did not turn it in, you may submit a picture of your work or type and submit it.

1. Read and copy slides 1- 11 into your notebook.  Abbreviate as needed.  Slide 6 should look familiar.


2. Complete the vocabulary on slide 12. Type the words and definitions onto a google doc and submit them when you finish.  Space the vocabulary and definitions out so the document will be easy for you to study later.


3. Copy and paste the questions/Fill-In-The-Blanks on slides 13 and 14 onto the bottom of the vocabulary google doc.


4. Listen to the Ecosystem song on slide 15.


5. Watch the video linked to slide 15.  This video offers closed captions in Spanish.  Summarize the video in 4-6 sentences on the same google doc you used for vocabulary and the questions.


6. Submit your google doc as soon as you finish.  All of today's work is due by midnight on September 2.

1.  Complete the attached Active Reading Sheet.  This will review the slides from yesterday.  Place your answers on the sheet and turn it in when you finish.  Due today by 3:00.


2.  Read all instructions.  Go back and read all assignments this week and make sure everything is complete.



Make sure you have finished Trash Mountain and New Life at Yellowstone in Achieve 3000.
THE LORAX assignments are due on Saturday.
