Use the "Central Dogma & Genetic Medicine" link below to complete the activity. You will complete pages 1-3. On page 3, you need to pick TWO of the diseases to investigate (feel free to do more if you'd like!). You will NOT do page #4.

You will complete the slides (not in presentation mode so you can manipulate the ) and submit when done.

If you were not in class, please pick a disease that has not yet been chosen and comment with what you choose. Then use the instruction brochure to make your brochure. Let me know if you have any questions. It is due on Wednesday, January 13th.

Submit all 7 pictures from your enzyme modeling activity including your key. Give me your groups scoring rubric.

A culminating unit 2 activity

After Quiz and FRQ, compete Parts 1-3 of the Visualizing Types of Cell Transport activity. We will do part 4 next week. We will complete part 4 next week after we discuss active transport!

Complete these problems and submit them. I will check them and return with any needed corrections with explanations.

Today you also need to revisit your Case Study: Osmosis is serious business to revise any answers now that we have completed the notes and lab (this was originally posted on 10/24)

On Monday, we will be doing part 1 of the Diffusion/Osmosis lab. You need to complete the "pre-lab" section on page 1 and then preview the procedures for part 1 of the lab prior to class on Monday.

If you will be absent for the duration of the lab, preview it and on Monday I will post an online version that for you to complete in lieu of doing this lab.

If you are unable to be in class for our lab, then you need to go through the online lab linked below and complete a short write up of what your learned.
Be sure to watch the video linked below to gain an understanding of the lab we did in class.

We will work on this in class today to get started. The finished project is due on Wed, 9/23. I have attached the scoring rubric so you can see exactly how you will be graded.

If you have bubble solution at home, feel free to try this. Or make your own with 800 ml distilled water, 100 ml karo syrup and 100 ml dish soap. If not, it is okay, just work on your Plasma Membrane Project.

After finishing your test, you may begin working on your Organelle Dating Profile.

After your quiz, print off the cards and worksheet to complete the activity. Turn in the worksheet when you are done so I can check your answers!

If you would like to do this extra credit worksheet, it is due on Monday.

Homework: Tonight you need to preview the lab by reading through it! We will be working on completing the lab 8/26 - 8/28.
