Research the ecology of freshwater ponds: describe a typical community of organisms, include at least 5 producers, 5 consumers, diagram a common food chain found in ponds including the original energy source, research how abiotic factors (at least 3) affect populations; research ecological interactions among organisms-describe at least one predator prey relationship, one consumer producer relationship, and one type of competition. Include sources, a title, and at least one illustration.

We are doing a lab on thursday and friday. To replace this assignment: research diffusion in cells, add a title, at least 3 diagrams, your sources, and at least 20 facts. You may also add information about active transport if you like.

Read the article and complete the reading summary (handed out in class).

Compare and contrast marine and freshwater communities. You can choose a specific topic within this broad topic if you prefer. Include at least 20 detailed facts, at least 3 diagrams/and or illustrations. Finally, include a title. List all of your sources too please. Complete the web quest by following the directions on the google slides document (I made a copy for each student)

We are doing a lab on natural selection in class today, please complete the attached document for practice of the same concept.

We are doing a two day lab in class (we started on Friday), this will replace your lab report (as you cannot do the lab at home). The directions are on the attached google document.

Choose one virus and one bacteria from the attached google slide. The information you need to find is on the attached google doc. Please put this in your notebook.

Make a bar graph using the musical genre data from your class. Please label the x and y axis as well as come up with a title. Plot the PERCENT of kids that choose each category of music. You will first need to take the number of kids that choose each genre and change that to a percent. To do this, take the number for each genre, divide by total number of kids, then multiply by 100.
