I can substitute one trig function for another.

Introduction/Connection: 

Do now  -SAT/ACT Practice- students will answer multiple choice questions written in the SAT or ACT style – posted in Google Classroom

Connection – solving algebraic equations

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

I will demonstrate how to use the unit circle to solve a one-step equation.  I will provide examples of how to solve multi-step equations using the unit circle.

Students learning by doing/demonstrating learning expectations.  Describe the instructional process that will be used to engage the students in the work period.

GUIDED PRACTICE:  

We will work practice problems together. Students will be guided through the process using strategic questioning.

Students will independently practice by completing Yellow Book p479 1-9 odd, 19-33 odd
