Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:

I can demonstrate basic geographical knowledge and can make accurate assumptions about French culture based on this knowledge.

Success Criteria:
I know the name, location and relevance of each of France's external neighbors.
I know the name, location, relevance and description of each of France's mountain ranges and rivers.
I know how France is divided up.
I know the name, location, relevance and description of at least 5 provinces.

INTRODUCTION: Name the Castle and the Parisian monunment that YOU 'need' to see!

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

Let's review what we saw in our "visit" the Loire Valley, the Region Parisienne.

Let's discover the Provinces of Alsace & Provence - their many names and many attributes

A few other Provinces will be quickly discussed

We'll check our progress both identifying where the Province is and what you expect to see there.

***We'll return to our adjectives - practice those we've already seen, learn a few others and we'll practice using all of them!
