Join Glynn Academy Concert Choir!

Why sing in Concert Choir?  Because everyone needs a place to call their second home in high school, and that's exactly what we like our class to feel like.  We are a class of students who look to build each other up and provide a safe place for all students, regardless of gender, class, style, address - none of that matters when it comes to the true team feeling that comes from producing beautiful music together! 

 

Concert Choir is family.

 

 

Plus, increasing our family atmosphere, you would also get to participate in choir retreats (rehearsals, games, and FOOD!), multiple performances in and around Brunswick during the school day throughout the year, and annual Spring Trips.  In the past we have gone to Atlanta, Memphis, Orlando, Gatlinburg, and Savannah.

Horsefeathers, I say!  You probably can't drive a golf ball 250 yards either, right?  Or kick a 40-yard field goal?  Why not?  Because no one has taught you to do so!  If you can match pitch, I can teach you to sing. If you can tell when notes go higher or lower - which 99% of the population can do - then I can teach you to sing!  

 

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. 

 

 

Singing is the most natural of all the Arts.  In fact, it is considered "The First Art", as our ancestors surely sang/hummed to their infants even before they drew on cave walls.  

 

What do I need to join choir?

 

- A black 3-ring binder

- A pencil

- Your voice (included!)
