Transcript Requests

Welcome to our Transcript Request page! Here, current students, graduates, and authorized individuals can easily request an official or unoffical high school transcript. Whether you are a current student sending records to a postsecondary instituation, or you are a graduate of Glynn Academy requesting the release of your final transcript, our streamlined process ensures the timely and secure handling of your request. Please follow the instructions carefully so that we may serve you quickly and efficiently.

Please note, federal law (FERPA) requires schools to obtain written consent from a parent/guardian or eligible student before releasing confidential student records. Likewise, transcripts must be sent through secure electronic transfer, released in-person to a parent/guardian or the eligible student, or mailed directly to the receiving party. Federal FERPA regulations prohibit schools from sending confidential student transcripts by fax or unsecured email.

  • Current Glynn Academy students sending transcripts to postsecondary institutions in Georgia:

GAfutures* is the preferred method for sending official high school transcripts to colleges and universities in Georgia. Once the student has logged in to her/his/their GAfutures account and submitted the online trancript request, an electronic copy will be sent to the college within 24 hours – at NO COST!

Directions for Sending Transcripts on GAfutures.org

*Transcripts cannot be sent through GAfutures during the months of June and January.

  • Current Glynn Academy students (Class of 2026) applying to college through Common App:

If you are a current student at Glynn Academy applying to a college or university through Common App, your counselor will upload a copy of your transcript when he/she/they submits the School Report. While you are not required to submit a separate transcript request, you are responsible for sending the appropriate recommender invite to your counselor:

    1. Once you have created an account on Common App and added schools to your college list, the next step is to invite & assign your recommenders.

    2. From My Colleges, select a college and then go to Recommenders and FERPA.

    3. If you have not already done so, complete the FERPA Release Authorization.

    4. Invite recommenders using the Invite Button from each section, or use the Invite Recommenders Button at the top of the page.

    5. Select the type of invitation you would like to send. You must provide the name and email address for one (1) person to serve as your counselor – see below.

    6. Once you add your recommenders, you can view their information using the Manage Recommenders Button.
