Glynn Academy DECA Shines at Georgia DECA’s WorkWinWow Conference
Glynn Academy DECA kicked off the new school year by attending Georgia DECA’s 2025-2026 WorkWinWow Conference, held in Covington, Georgia. This marked the chapter’s first major event of the year, and Glynn Academy’s officers proudly represented both their school and Region 12 on the state stage.
Officers Marshall Kent and Jackson Grantham were invited to assist Georgia DECA in training chapter leaders from across the state. They shared Glynn Academy’s strategies for success in both membership growth and competitive achievement, helping to inspire chapters statewide.
Officer Asa Roberts also played a key leadership role, working alongside Georgia DECA President Tanmay Srivastava to facilitate breakout sessions. These workshops challenged more than 500 DECA members to think critically and creatively while solving real-world marketing simulations.
In addition to leadership, Glynn Academy DECA earned recognition in statewide competition. Officers Lauren Thaxton and Gracie Paulding placed second overall in the Membership Recruitment Campaign, a contest featuring over 40 entries from across Georgia.
With a strong start to the year, Glynn Academy DECA is living out its 2025-2026 theme: Go the Extra. The chapter looks forward to a year filled with growth, leadership, and continued success.
