Standards: ar verbs (ML1.IP2a Initiate, participate in, and close a brief exchange in the target language. (verb endings in present tense)
Learning Targets: EQ: How do I form the present tense of AR verbs?
Success Criteria: I can identify the three families of Spanish verbs. (AR, ER, IR) I can conjugate a regular "AR" verb. (with the corresponding subject-endings -o, -as, -a, amos áis, an) I can ask and give information about things I and others do, using Spanish verbs. (Do you speak English? I speak Spanish. They don't talk a lot in the class.)
Intro/Connection: How many English VERBS can you write down in five minutes? (to eat, to go, to hurry, etc.) Try to beat the record of 163 verbs.

AR Verbs NOTES:
In Spanish, all vers (infinitives) end in either AR, ER or IR (Examples: TENER, SER)
An "infinitive" is like "to see," and "to Speak."
