Standard/s: MLI.CCC3A - Recognize similarities/differences between target language and English
MLIPC - Demonstrate Novice proficiency in oral and written language.

Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:
I can describe myself and others.

Success Criteria:

I know how to conjugate our 1st irregular verb - ETRE.
I know 10+ nationalities in French.
I know 30+ new descriptions (adjectives).
I know how to make my adjectives agree with the subject(s) of the sentence.

Introduction: Who am I describing - if you are absent - use slide #38 (French 1 - Daily 10 week 8b Powerpoint)

INSTRUCTION:

We will quickly review all adjectives - focusing on the chart from Friday - can you make any adjective agree???

We will practice writing full sentences - etre + adjective -see worksheet below

Before submitting - students will write a detailed description of themselves on the back - see slide #41 (French 1 - Daily 10 week 8b) powerpoint
