·         I will create a two-way frequency table given a set of data.

·         I can define and identify a two-way frequency table.

·         I can calculate given probabilities from a two-way frequency table.

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

Complete Notes on Two-way tables. 

Work Period  (We Do, You Do)

Students learning by doing/demonstrating learning expectations.  Describe the instructional process that will be used to engage the students in the work period.

GUIDED PRACTICE: 

As a class we will complete a few examples on the handout.

INDEPENDENT/COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE/DIFFERENTIATION:

Students will complete the remaining problems on the handout on two way tables. Students will share answers on the board and discuss concerns.

Closing  (We Check)

Describe the instructional process that will be used to close the lesson and check for student understanding .
