Geometry with Support Agenda

Date: 8-10-21

Standard/s:
MGSE9-12.G.CO.1 Know precise definitions of angle, circle, perpendicular line, parallel line, and line segment, based on the undefined notions of point, line, distance along a line, and distance around a circular arc.

Learning Target:
Students will use Google Classroom to find resources for the 2020/21 school year.
Students will understand the expectations for the Geometry classroom.
Students can define basic Geometry vocabulary and identify common notations in Geometry.

Success Criteria:
I know the expectations for my Geometry Classroom.
I can find my class and resources on Google Classroom.
I can define basic Geometry vocabulary and identify common notations in Geometry.

Introduction of Resources and their locations
Marshmallow Tower
Pennant Activity
Island (Get to Know You) Activity
Google Classroom Orientation

Closing:
Students will send a test email from their Google account to the teachers answering the following two questions:
What are you looking forward to most about this school year?
What concerns you the most about this school year?
