MGSE.9-12.G.CO.10: Prove theorems about triangles. Theorems include: measures of interior angles of a triangle sum to 180 degrees, base angles of isosceles triangles are congruent, the segment joining midpoints of two sides of a triangle is parallel to the 3rd side and half the length, medians of a triangle meet at a point.

Learning Targets /Success Criteria:
--I can classify triangles by their sides and angles.
--I can prove the measures of interior angles of a triangle sum to 180 degrees.
--I can use the Triangle Sum Theorem to find missing angles of a triangle.
--I can identify exterior and interior angles.
--I can use the Exterior Angle Theorem to solve for missing variables and angles of a triangle.

Introduction/Connection (Activator): students will complete selected problems on Angle Pair Relationships w/s (attached below).

Direct Instruction/Guided Practice:
--review bellringer
--Guide students in completing Angle Theorems for Triangles foldable..
--Guide students in completing selected problems on Interior & Exterior Angles w/s (attached below).

Independent Practice/Collaboration/Differentiation;
--Selected problems on Angle Pair Relationship w/s (including #13-16)
--Differentiation: Graphic organizers and foldables. Provide one-one-one help to students needing extra guidance provide enrichment problems for those students that understand the material quickly.

Summarizer/CFU: asked students to discuss when they use the Triangle Sum theorem and when they would use the Exterior Angle Theorem.

Assignment: TBA.
