MGSE.9-12.G.CO.9 Prove theorems about lines and angles. Theorems include: vertical angles are congruent; when a transversal crosses parallel lines, alternate interior angles are congruent and corresponding angles are congruent; points on a perpendicular bisector of a line segment are exactly those equidistant from the segment's endpoints.

Learning Targets /Success Criteria:
--I can identify linear pairs, adjacent angles, vertical angles, complementary angles and supplementary angles and provide a definition and/or example.
--I can apply properties of linear pair relationships.

Introduction/Connection (Bellringer): review of angle addition postulate and angle bisector theorem

Direct Instruction/Guided Practice
--Guide students in foldable on special angles reviewing vocabulary: supplementary angles, linear pair, and vertical angles.
--Guided practice on special angle pairs (Angle Pair Relationships w/s attached below).

Independent Practice/Collaboration/Differentiation
--Students will complete Angle Pair relationships w/s in class (attached below).
--Differentiation: Graphic organizers and foldables. Provide one-one-one help to students needing extra guidance provide enrichment problems for those students that understand the material quickly.

Summarizer/CFU: Identifying Angle Relationships/Finding Measures Using Angle Relationships (attached below).
