Standards Addressed:
MGSE.9-12.G.CO.2 Represent transformations in the plane using transparencies and geometry software; describe transformations as functions that take points in the plane as inputs and give other points as outputs. Compare transformations that preserve distance and angle to those that do not.

MGSE.9-12.G.CO.4 Develop definitions of rotations, reflections and translations in terms of angles, circles, perpendicular lines, parallel lines and line segments.

Learning Targets /Success Criteria:
1. I can find and access Mrs. Little's web site for use of lesson plans.
2. I can find and access Mrs. Little's Google Classroom for notes, resources, links, assignments, and due dates.
3. I know the Remind code for my specific class and can join Mrs. Little's Remind for daily updates.
4. I understand the best way to communicate with Mrs. Little outside of the classroom.
5. I know the rules and expectations for Mrs. Little's classroom.
6.I understand the meaning of the following terms: transformation, rigid/non-rigid transformations, pre-image/image, similar figures, congruent figures, reflection, line of reflection.

Introduction/Connection: Students will complete The Graph of Me Bellringer (and turn in).

Direct Instruction/Guided Practice:
1. Introduce web site, Google Classroom, Remind information, and Syllabus (see attached below)--if not completed Wednesday.
2. Complete popsicle stick--if not completed on Wednesday
3. Introduce vocabulary: transformation, rigid/non-rigid transformations, pre-image/image, similar figures, congruent figures, reflection, line of reflection using desmos.
4. DeltaMath assignment on plotting points.
5. Start Transformations foldable if time.

Resources: Desmos, DeltaMath, Remind

Assignment:
1. Subscribe to Remind
2. familiarize self Google Classroom
3. Finish DeltaMath assignment: Plotting Points Bellringer
