Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:

I can describe someone's nationality.

Success Criteria:
I 'still' know how to conjugate a regular verb.
I understand the difference and know how to conjugate our first 'irregular' verb: etre.
I know the how to say 10+ nationalities in French.
I know what/how to change the nationality if I'm talking about a female.

INTRODUCTION: Name the country (one of France's neighbors that I am describing) - we'll try both by location and by description

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

We'll continue of discussion: Finish this thought: Considering France's neighbors, I imagine the French people to be.....

We'll add France's mountain ranges and rivers today - see slides #24-38. We'll discuss the impacts each has on France and watch quick video clips to "see" them live. (unless I win the lottery and then we'll go there on my private jet :))

Let's learn some new adjectives too! - We'll add to our notes, rules on pluralizing (see slide #23 - Etre Powerpoint) and then we'll add the first group (slide #30-32)
