Describe a home.

Success Criteria:

I know the meanings of 50+ vocabulary items relating to the "home"
I know 10+ prepositions.
I can put these together to describe a home.
I can use "new" irregular verbs (sortir family + voir)


Introduction/Connection: Have you heard from your penpals about their house???

Verbs we know so far - see Verb Flippy Chart powerpoint below - slides # 31 - 34 - we will have a pop quiz on these soon!!!!

DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:

After we review our old verbs, we will add the new verbs to our flip chart. Please copy down slide 35 - 37 into your notes (you can wait to put in your flipchart until you get back to class)

Practice reading/using these verbs slides 38 - 39
Practice speaking using theses verbs slide 40
Conjugating practice - slides 41 - 42

Then we will add the verb "voir" - see slide # 44 - copy into your notes - including vocab from slide #45

Finally we will put it all together - see slides 47 - 48

We will discuss our projects and will hopefully have time to work on them. - see "ma maison.doc" below. You can see great examples of sentences from the "Les Pieces et les Meubles" powerpoint slide # 35 and video example links from slide # 34
