Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:

I can demonstrate basic geographical knowledge and can make accurate assumptions about French culture based on this knowledge.

Success Criteria:
I know the name, location and relevance of each of France's external neighbors.
I know the name, location, relevance and description of each of France's mountain ranges and rivers.
I know how France is divided up.
I know the name, location, relevance and description of at least 5 provinces.

INTRODUCTION: Try to sell a trip to Bretagne or Normandie

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

We'll finish learning about France's important Provinces - see slides #64-103 (we'll skip a few :)). Of course we'll watch some video clips for some great visuals (see below). Today we will "visit" the Loire Valley, the Region Parisienne and Alsace - if time allows we'll head south to Provence.

We'll check our progress both identifying where the Province is and what you expect to see there.

Let's learn some new adjectives too! - We'll review and use the ones we already know and we'll add on!
