Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:
I can describe someone's nationality.
I can describe France's physical geography.
Success Criteria:
I 'still' know how to conjugate a regular verb.
I understand the difference and know how to conjugate our first 'irregular' verb: etre.
I know the how to say 10+ nationalities in French.
I know what/how to change the nationality if I'm talking about a female.
I know the following: the shape of France, France's neighbors and how they influence/d France
INTRODUCTION: Name the country (one of France's neighbors that I am describing)
DIRECT INSTRUCTION:
We'll finish labeling all of France's external borders. We'll discuss how each influences(ed) France. - we'll attempt to determine the most influential.
We'll make sure you can answer the "where" (identify on the map) and the "who" - name the neighbor based on my description - if you are at home, see slide # 21(Geo Powerpoint)
We'll add France's mountain ranges today - see slides #24-38
Let's learn some new adjectives too! - We'll add to our notes, rules on pluralizing (see slide #23 - Etre Powerpoint) and then we'll add the first group (slide #30-32)
