Standards Addressed: MGSE.9-12.G.CO.9 Prove theorems about lines and angles. Theorems include vertical angles are congruent, when a transversal crosses parallel lines, alternate exterior angles are congruent and corresponding angles are congruent.; points on a perpendicular bisector of a line segment are exactly those equidistance from the segment’s endpoints.

Introduction/Connection (Bellringer): students will complete selected problems on Parallel lines w/ Transversal w/s (attached below).

--Students will work in collaborative pairs to complete Lunch Lines task--review whole group with student led discussion
--Guide students in slope graphic organizer (attached below).


Independent Practice/Collaboration/Differentiation
--Differentiation: foldable, color code congruent angles, provide one-on-one assistance for struggling students, provide material for accelerated learners, student-led review/teaching.
--Students will work in collaborative pairs to complete Lunch Lines task
