Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:

I can describe my family and soon my classroom!

Success Criteria:
I know the irregular verb AVOIR.
I know the proper vocabulary to discuss school supplies/things found in a school.

INTRODUCTION: Remember your project is due Today!!


DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

Students will proofread their work before submitting. They will also choose 1 family member and read their paragraph to the class.
Other students will be sweetly rewarded by answering questions about information we hear.

Projects will be submitted

We'll begin our next Chapter - l'ecole. We'll start with a cultural question: If you transfered to a French school tomorrow - how would it be different???


We'll discuss some of the biggest differences between school in France and in the U.S. - each day we'll learn 3 facts (differences) - you will use this information to ultimately answer the question - Would you be a happy/successful at a French high school? Why or why not?


We'll review our 'newish' verb - Avoir (to have)


We'll begin to learn the French equivalent for 40+ school supplies - spelling, pronunciation and gender
