Standards Addressed:
MGSE.9-12.G.CO.7 Use the definition of congruence in terms of rigid motions to show that two triangles are congruent if and only if corresponding pairs of sides and corresponding pairs of angles are congruent.
MGSE.9-12.G.CO.8. Explain how the criteria for triangle congruence (ASA, SAS, and SSS) follow from the definition of congruence in terms of rigid motions. (Extend to include HL and AAS).

Learning Targets /Success Criteria
--I can solve problems involving congruent triangles by identifying congruent parts of congruent triangles.
--I can identify corresponding sides and corresponding angles.
--I can create congruent statements based on corresponding sides and angles.
--I can prove two triangles congruent using congruence theorems such as SSS, SAS, AAS, ASA, and HL.
--I can identify congruent and corresponding sides.
--I can identify included and non-included sides.
--I can identify included and non-included angles.

Independent Practice: Students will complete the following IXLs. All due at the end of class.
--K1 SSS and SAS Theorems (shortcut 48Q)
--K3 ASA and AAS Theorems (shortcut N94)
