Introduction/Connection: Let's review when to use each of the 2 tenses - draw pictures and practice

Direct Instruction:

We'll complete a proficiency that asks us to 1. name the tense and then 2. conjugate in that tense

We'll work on telling short stories - Superman + 3 pigs - correctly forming each verb in the correct tense

Adding on - adverb vocab (notes) and how they affect the choice of tense
