Learning Targets /Success Criteria:
• I can create correct trigonometric ratios using sine, cosine and tangent.
• I can use trigonometric ratios to find missing sides in right triangles.
• I can use the Pythagorean Theorem and trigonometric ratios to solve for all side lengths of a right triangle.
• I can use inverse trigonometric functions and ratios to find missing angles in a right triangle.
• I can solve a right triangle using trigonometric functions and inverse functions.
• I can solve word problems involving right triangles using trigonometric functions and the Pythagorean Theorem.

Introduction/Connection (Bellringer): Students will complete #7-15 on back of Practice Right Triangle Trig (attached below).

Direct Instruction/Guided Practice:
--review bellringer
--Finish foldable: Angle of Elevation and Angle of Depression (attached below)
--Guided/independent practice of word problems and angle of elevation and depression using Right Triangle Trig word problems w/s (attached below).

Independent Practice/Collaboration/Differentiation:
--Differentiation: graphic organizers, foldables, partner work (if used), coloring pages to check correct answers. Acceleration of concepts for advanced students, one-on-one help for specific students.
--Independent practice: students will complete word problem coloring sheet and complete solving triangles coloring sheet (both attached below).
