Signing Naturally Unit 7 Lessons for this week:

*Describing Personal Items:
I can sign about the physical features of items such as shirts, glasses, and bags using classifiers and other signed descriptors.

*The Number Game- Above, Below & In-Between (range)
I can determine if a signed number is above, below, or in-between (within a range of numbers)

*Using "Have" (Parts 1 & 2)
I can determine which signed meaning of "HAVE" best fits the context of a signed sentence.


Deaf culture focus:
"Sound & Fury" documentary (DVD)- examining the controversies surrounding cochlear implantation and its impact on the Deaf community/ASL.

Activities:
Daily 10 (warm-up)
Lesson slides- vocabulary introduction, guided practice
DVD review (guided practice) w/curriculum handouts (accompanying dialogues)
Film discussion

Friday: Brief review & weekly unit quiz
