Standards:
SSPFL1 Evaluate various sources of income and analyze variables that affect a person’s income.
SSPFL2 Describe how budgeting and actively reviewing finances can be used to allocate scarce income.
Learning Targets: Students will learn how to keep a budget based on their income, expenses, and needs and wants (fixed and variable expenses).
Students will understand vocabulary around banking, saving, taxes, and credit.
Students will understand how financial decisions can impact their daily lives and their futures.
Students will understand how credit works, as well as its risks and benefits.

Success Criteria:
I can create a budget using the 50/30/20 (Needs/Wants/Saving & Debt repayment) rule of thumb.
I can understand the financial vocabulary and properly use it in sentences when asked.
I can make decisions and adjust the budget to take into account variables that financially affect me.
I can make smart decisions about credit .
