Direct Instruction: Complete Notes on Comparing Functions
Guided Practice: As a class, we will complete a couple examples in our notes together on different functions using graphs, equations, tables and situations.
Independent/Collaborative practice/differentiation: Students will sort out and identify the differences in linear, quadratic and exponential functions on their worksheet.
Summarize/Check for Understanding: The teacher will observe and question students on a need-to-need basis on the work given. Teacher will individually conference if needed with student to check his/her work.
