Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:

I can say hello and present myself in French to various people.
I can say Good-bye.
I can ask someone their name and tell them mine.

Success Criteria:

I know vocabulary needed.
I know what sounds letters make in French.



Introduction/Connection:
Let's start our Daily 10 -- See: French I - Daily 10 powerpoint - attached below. We'll do slides # 1-3


DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

-We will add the accent mark rules to our notes. SSee Alphabet and Pronunciation Powerpoint - Slides #24-29

- We will review all greetings we have learned so far (see Francais I Greetings Powerpoint below - slides# 38 & 41 - we will practice reading them, saying them, and hearing/understanding them

-We will learn how to ask how someone is doing - slide #43 as well as appropriate responses. - slides #44-45. We will practice until it is easy to say/understand/respond.

-We will try some skits. Students will respond appropriately to either a 1. hello, 2. good-bye, 3. what is your name or 4. how are you

-We will play a Kahoot to reinforce what we have learned!
