Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:

I can say hello and present myself in French to various people.
I can say Good-bye.
I can ask someone their name and tell them mine.
I can ask someone how they are doing and tell them how I am.

Success Criteria:

I know vocabulary needed.
I know how to pronounce our vocabulary.
I know how to use these expressions to create conversations.


Introduction/Connection:
Daily 10 - Today we will do slide # 12 & 13 - See: French I - Daily 10 powerpoint - attached below


DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

**If you have been absent, I have included a document that gives you all of the notes. I have also included videos that go through the notes.


- We will use slides #44 & 50 (Greeting Powerpoint) to review all of the vocabulary that we have learned so far: hellos, good-byes, asking/telling our names & asking/telling how we are doing.

- We will continue try some skits to practice all of our vocabulary

-We will create spontaneous skits.

- We will complete written practice - see French Greetings Worksheet below
- We will practice reading French - see slide #13 (French 1 - Daily 10 powerpoint).

-We will practice dictation - see slide #14

- We will complete written practice - see French Greetings Worksheet below

Real Quiz = Thursday


I will not be here tomorrow because I am bringing my daughter back up to Georgia Tech. We will go over what you will be doing with the substitute.
