Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:
I can say hello and present myself in French
I can understand someone’s else presentation of themself.
I can dialogue with a partner.
I can tap-in to prior knowledge.


Success Criteria:
I know vocabulary needed to present myself.
I know correct French pronunciation.



Introduction/Connection - Daily 10
Students will listen as the teacher introduces herself. Using a guided key, students will present themselves to their partner. They will then present their partner to the class.


DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:


Syllabus will be reviewed as well as expectations, routines and hopes for this school year.

Comprehension game - would you rather? Students will find their "soul mate" by picking among several choices for each question

We will begin a review of French I - highlights, lowlights, etc. - there will be 4 pages to complete and be proficient in by Friday.

We will work through page 1 - seeing what you remember from last year.

We will prep for tomorrow's game "Qui suis-je?" Students will translate/mark up the graphic organiser they will use for the game.
