Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:
Describe what someone is wearing.
Read descriptions and "see" the image.

Success Criteria:

I know the meanings/spellings of 50 + clothing nouns.
I know appropriate descriptors to describe clothing.
I can build grammatically correct sentences to describe what someone is wearing.



Fashion in France discussion!

DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:

Clothing Unit Vocabulary Review- we will:

1. Begin translating and pronouncing all of our vocabulary words

2. See it and say it (using clothing props I have in my room) - if you are absent, review your vocabulary and try to write a detailed description of what you or someone you know is wearing. We will then determine if my descriptions are true/false.

3. We will put together an outfit and practice describing it - color, pattern, material - in writing
- try to write a paragraph describing at least 3 articles of clothing with at least 3 descriptors.
ex. Elle porte une jolie jupe bleu clair en coton. Elle porte aussi un pull blanc à rayures blanches. Elle a les chaussures brun en cuir.


Later this week we will be doing a WebQuest where you will be putting together an outfit to "buy" from Galaries Lafayette
