Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:
Describe what someone is wearing.
Read descriptions and "see" the image.

Success Criteria:

I know the meanings/spellings of 50 + clothing nouns.
I know appropriate descriptors to describe clothing.
I can build grammatically correct sentences to describe what someone is wearing.


Introduction/Connection: Let's learn our body parts: 1. Head, shoulders, knees and toes in French 2. Simon says

DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:

Clothing Unit Vocabulary Review- we will:

1. See it and say it (using clothing props I have in my room) - we'll include descriptions and body parts

2. Judge it - cute or odd? Again using vocab, descriptions and body parts

3. We will use our vocab, adjectives and verbs in reading/writing - see "Vetements draw doc" below

4. We will begin a webquest to review our vocabulary, learn new clothing words, shop virtually for things we like, describe the things we like in French. See the attached document.
