Let's check out the unit's Learning Targets - we'll then determine the necessary Success Criteria.
What was a regular verb? Do you think "Frapper" is regular? Do you think "Dormir" is regular? Why/why not.
Into: The Verb Etre - how do you think it will be different?
We'll copy, review and practice the conjugation thoroughly. If you are absent, check out the video I linked below.
We'll begin learning our 'nationalities' in French. We'll learn their meanings, spellings and pronunciations. We'll also learn that when we are talking about a female, the spelling and pronunciation may chance. See slides 20-22.
We'll put it all together to write sentences describing various people and where they're from.
We'll complete a practice - see "nationalities" doc below. It will see if you can: read, write, and understand these new words.
