Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:

I can discuss what I like and don't like.

Success Criteria:

I know how to conjugate "I like" "I don't like"
I know how to add a noun and a verb!
I know approx 20 French/English cognates
I can build increasingly complex sentences.

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

We will review all Likes expressions + nouns - pronunciations and meanings. Students will be interviewed about their preferences.


We'll try translating some complicated sentences - see slides #22-25 "Likes & Dislikes" Powerpoint


We'll watch some short French videos about things people like - see YouTube links below.

We will add on "verbs" to be liked/disliked - see notes on Powerpoint "Likes & Dislikes" - slides # 33-35
