Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:
-describe what people are doing (using IRREGULAR verbs).
Success Criteria:
I know the meanings of all of the French irregular verbs.
I can conjugate 20+ irregular French verbs
Introduction/Connection: Warm-up meanings from page 1 - Q & A
Lesson:
Students will collaborate to be sure that their work from last night is perfect. They will then submit their assignment.
We'll review the patterns of the verbs on page 1 one last time.
We'll try a mini-quiz to see if we have mastered the verbs on page 1. We'll grade it in class and use the results to tell us which verbs we need to revisit/drill.
Let's conjugate page 2 - we'll go over meanings, conjugations, pronunciations and of course highlight patterns, exceptions, etc. We'll compare/contrast these verbs with the ones on page 1
We'll practice by translating epic sentences, q&a, etc.
Homework: Study page 1 & 2 conjugations
