I know how to write a solid Thesis in French!
Introduction: Composition check sheet - how are things progressing? Let's fill out the 3 "impersonal expressions requiring the Subjunctive" - can you see yourself embedding these in your arguments?
DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:
Let's return to forming the Subjunctive - can we work through the 3 levels. Are we proficient? Written practice until we are.
Let's review reason # 1 to use the Subjunctive - Impersonal Expressions. When wouldn't an Impers. Express require us to use the Subjunctive. We'll practice working with it and around it.
Written practice of Usage # 1. We'll read other people's sentences and write our own.
Oral practice - We'll practice reacting orally to a prompt using the Subjunctive. Example - Il y a un autre ouragan qui vient (there is another hurricane coming).
We'll begin our look at Usage # 2 - verb + que.
