I know my old irregular verbs
I know my 'new' irregular verbs (venir & prendre families)
I can predict what/how to work with more 'spelling change' verbs


Introduction/Connection: Q & A using old verbs

DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:

We'll work on our verb families - regular - (ex. retrouver, laver) - our old irregs (etre, avoir, aller, faire) and our newest irregs (prendre and venir families). We'll conjugate examples of each.

Now let's add on to our knowledge of Spelling Change verbs. We've seen 1 so far: acheter. How was "acheter" different than any other ER verb. We'll learn (and take notes) on several other kinds of spelling change verbs from this chapter: ranger, nettoyer, appeler, etc.

We'll practice using all of them - both orally (Q&A) and in writing
