Learning Target: I can talk about Food
Success Criteria:
I know my vocab (meals, table setting, lunch and breakfast)
Iknow even more vocabulary (dinner, desserts, beverages and ingredients)
I can apply my articles (a, the, some, and the 'new' partitive - some of)
I can read, understand and order from a menu
Introduction/Connection: Food Daily 10s - slide #3 &4
**We will submit this for a quiz grade at the end of the unit
DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:
Review - food vocab -use flashcards to pronounce, identify
Reading/vocab work - read my grocery list and jot down what I will need (like we did with fruits/veggies). We'll also practice writing longer sentences that include food, quantities, utensils, etc.
Let's add some new irregular verbs! Students will use their graphic organiser (see flippy chart powerpoint) to add these verbs:
On the same page as "Voir" we will add "Boire = to drink" and the verb "Devoir = to have to" - see slides 116 - 124
We'll practice incorporating these verbs into this chapter vocab!
