I know my articles (a, the, some, and the 'new' partitive - some of)
I can use full sentences to discuss what I buy at the market.


Introduction/Connection: Weird Fruits/Veggies around the world - video clips

DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:

We'll finish our Vocab Definitions - fruits & veggie

We'll use flashcards and plastic props to practice identifying and pronouncing. The articles are key for this chapter.

We'll review the articles we already know (a,the,some) and learn the new article (some of). We'll compare: une banane with de la banane

Written Practice of fruits + Veggies - see "fruits 2 doc" below.

We'll define the "quantity vocab" on the back side of our Vocab sheet

We'll practice using these words - see "fruits & quantities" below

We'll begin to discuss- The Food Project - dos and don'ts - expectations & ideas
