Standard: Derivatives of Inverses

Learning Target: I can find the derivative of e and ln. I can find the derivative of logs and general exponentials. I can find the derivative of inverse trig functions.

Success Criteria: I know and can use the log laws. I know and can use the exponent laws. I know and can use the trig identities. I can evaluate inverse trig.

Introduction/Connection: name a function and it's inverse and then their derivatives

Direct Instruction: Students will work together to complete a review for their test on inverse functions

Guided Practice: Examples done throughout review together if necessary

Independent/Collaborative Practice/Differentiation: Scaffolding throughout lesson; Applications of inverses in lesson and more difficult derivative probs; pair share problems in review sheet - teacher answers qs as necessary

Summarize/Check for Understanding: Ticket out the door

Assessment: move around the room answering questions checking for understanding
