DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:

Let's read chapters 24 & 25.

CH 24 - We'll do some more independent reading, trying to understand for ourselves what we read. Students will try to complete thought-provoking questions about what they read.

CH25 - Prereading - vocab dive. Anticipating vocab from this chapter students will to try to infer the meanings of 20+ new vocab words. We'll check our anwers as we read.
