Learning Target: I can talk about Fruits and Vegetables.

Success Criteria:

I know my vocab (fruits and veggies)
I know my articles (a, the, some, and the 'new' partitive - some of)
I know expressions of quantity
I can use full sentences to discuss what I buy at the market.


Introduction/Connection: What did you decide you will cook? And when will you do it? Signing up is binding!

DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:

Quantity Review - we'll use the white boards to show off our 'quantity word (articles)' skills.

Vocab Review - Draw the shopping list that you hear (see slides 22 - 26). We'll progress from reading/drawing to hearing/writing the grocery lists

We will begin a chapter on pronouns - what are they? which ones do we already know? - today we will focus on direct object pronouns - see slide #27-37 (Daily 10 powerpoint below)

We will complete a written practice - see "fruits and vegs pronouns quiz" below.


Homework - Know which day you are presenting your food!!! Find that recipe!!!
