Learning Target: I can talk about Food
Success Criteria:
I know my vocab (meals, table setting, lunch and breakfast)
Iknow even more vocabulary (dinner, desserts, beverages and ingredients)
I can apply my articles (a, the, some, and the 'new' partitive - some of)
I can read, understand and order from a menu
I can use irregular verbs while talking about food - boire, prendre, vouloir
(plus their friends: comprendre, apprendre, venir, pouvoir)
Introduction/Connection: Food Daily 10s - Writing a proper menu! We'll review what we talked about yesterday and we'll write our own today - we'll use these later.
**We will submit these Do Nows tomorrow for a test grade!!!
DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:
Review - food vocab -use flashcards to pronounce, identify
Restaurant Skits - first we'll prep all the vocab we need, then we'll practice our pronunciation and then we'll put it into use. The first round will be pre-planned skits. The second round will be spontaneous skits.
Written practice of all vocab!
Remember your Food Test is Thursday!
