Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:

I can describe someone's nationality.

Success Criteria:
I 'still' know how to conjugate a regular verb.
I understand the difference and know how to conjugate our first 'irregular' verb: etre.
I know the how to say 10+ nationalities in French.
I know what/how to change the nationality if I'm talking about a female.

INTRODUCTION: Name the country (one of France's neighbors that I am describing)

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

We'll practice one last time in writing again describing someone's nationality.

We'll begin our discussion of Geography. How does a country's geography affect it's people???? We'll discuss the U.S. first and then dive into truths/stereotypes/mistakes about France.
We'll start our map of France - 1st labeling all of France's external borders. We'll discuss how each influences(ed) France. - we'll attempt to determine the most influential.

We'll make sure you can answer the "where" (identify on the map) and the "who" - name the neighbor based on my description - if you are at home, see slide # 21(Geo Powerpoint)
