Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:
I can describe someone's nationality.
Success Criteria:
I 'still' know how to conjugate a regular verb.
I understand the difference and know how to conjugate our first 'irregular' verb: etre.
I know the how to say 10+ nationalities in French.
I know what/how to change the nationality if I'm talking about a female.
INTRODUCTION: Name the country (one of France's neighbors that I am describing)
DIRECT INSTRUCTION:
We'll review France's external borders. We'll discuss how each influences(ed) France. - we'll attempt to determine the most influential. We'll try a practice quiz on them.
We'll add France's mountain ranges today - see slides #24-38. Again try to capture where they are located and why they are important.
We'll then go on to learn some new adjectives too! - See Etre powerpoint below (slide #24-
