This week we will be focused on lessons from Signing Naturally Unit 2.

By the end of this unit, I will be able to self-assess my knowledge and understanding of the following objectives/goals:

  1. I know how to ask a yes/no question.

  1. I know how to identify a person (gender, appearance, body, position, action) and either ask a question or make a statement about the person.

  1. I know the correct way to acknowledge information signed by another person.  (Signing “Oh I See”)

  1. I know how to narrate my language background using transitions (eyebrows up) to signal a new time frame.

  1. I know how to narrate information about a person and use transitions (eyebrows up) to move from one topic to the next.

  1. I know appropriate ways to negotiate (move) through a signed conversation and through crowds of people conversing in signs.

  1. I can read and sign the numbers 1-30.

  1. I know how to use different strategies to ask for a sign.

  1. I know how to affirm/negate a sentence.

  1. I know the vocabulary covered in this unit.
