Introduction/Connection: Name this story: Il trouva une lampe. Il devint Prince. La Princesse l'aima. Ils sauvent la Genie.

Direct Instruction:

We'll review the who, what, how and whys of the Passe Simple. We'll use it to write our own 4 sentence movie synopsis.

We'll try becoming "Literary Geniuses" and will write in the P.S.


We'll use it to write our own 4 sentence novel.


We'll take a short recognizing practice quiz. - on kahoot!!!


Short quiz on recognizing (reading and understanding) the Passe Simple tomorrow!!
