Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:
I can describe my family.
Success Criteria:
I know the irregular verb ETRE.
I know 20+ French adjectives.
I know how/when to make adjectives "agree".
I know the irregular verb AVOIR.
I know the proper vocabulary to discuss my family.

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:
Let's learn our "La Famille" Vocab - ( slides #8-11) focusing on meaning, spelling and pronunciation
Let's add a new 'irregular' verb- Avoir = to have.
We'll learn the conjugation, usage , pronunciation. We'll use it to talk about 'how many' siblings, cats, cousins, etc. we have - see slide # 12
We'll add on to our vocabulary list - how to say a family member's name, age, hair color, eye color, etc.
We'll practice reading - see slide #20 and speaking - see slide # 21
We'll practice in writing.
