Learning Target: I know that I have learned it when I can:
-I can understand and correctly use PRONOUNS in French.

Success Criteria:
I know how to form it.
I know when to use it.


Introduction: 5 tenses warm-up: class warms and then Connect 4 game

DIRECT INSTRUCTION/WORK SESSION:

We'll take our quiz on our 5 tenses.


Let's prep our next chapter: Pronouns - What is a pronoun? Why do we need them? How do they work in English. (see powerpoint below).

Direct Object pronouns - We'll need to learn 2 important things for each set: 1. French equivalents 2. Postition - where to put them - we'll also be sure we know a slew of verbs that often use direct objects (ex. buy, know, etc)

After we add the rules and verbs to our notes we'll start trying to use them conversationally. Ex. Tell me how you feel about _________

We'll practice using them in writing.

What is an I.O.? We'll be sure we know the difference in English. We'll see how/where they appear in French. (*they are actually easier to spot!)
